Stove Building in Guatemala

In 2009 I had the great privilege of going to Guatemala with Guatemala Project to build high efficiency wood burning stoves in indigenous Mayan homes in the Central Highlands. We installed two different types of stoves in each of 30 homes. The new stoves are safer for children, burn far more efficiently than the previous method of cooking and emit no smoke in the cooking area.
